Bing Around the World, Terms and Conditions

1. ELIGIBILITY: This draw is open to any person resident in the United Kingdom who is 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
2. TO ENTER: One correct answer can be entered into the Bing Around the World home page each day in any Prize Period (as defined in Section 4 below). A total of five (5) correct answers constitute one (1) entry. Where an Entrant has made fewer than five (5) entries in any Prize Period, the correct answers entered in that Prize Period will be rolled over into the next Prize Period. Microsoft is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries. Only six (6) entries per person, per Prize Period will be accepted. No purchase necessary. Entry constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Microsoft reserves the right to disqualify anyone in breach of these Terms and Conditions. For an alternative method of entry please send your answer with name and address on a postcard to Bing Around The World Competition, 32-37 Cowper Street, London, EC2A 4AW.
3. HOW TO OBTAIN THE ANSWERS: To obtain the answers required for entry, visit www.bing.com and each calendar day you will be presented with that day’s Bing home page image and the opportunity to guess the location of that image. You can only submit one correct answer per day but you may guess an unlimited number of times. You may use the Bing search service to determine the answer. Upon entering the correct answer, you will be notified your answer is correct and will be prompted to register your email address and password. If you have already registered you just need to login with your email address and password. Your correct answer is then logged and you will be taken to your own personal map which will track your correct answers during each of the Prize Periods.
4. TIMING: This promotion runs from 12.01:00 am GMT on 2 November 2009 until 11.59:59 p.m. on 31 January 2010 (inclusive), each month being a separate prize period (a “Prize Period”).
5. USE OF DATA: Personal data which you provide when you enter the draw will be used to update you on the Bing Around the World competition only. Please review the Microsoft Privacy Policy for details of how we use your data.
6. SELECTION OF WINNERS: Winners will be determined each Prize Period within five (5) days of the end of the relevant Prize Period by a random prize draw conducted by Microsoft or its agent under the supervision of an independent adjudicator. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received. The winners will be notified by email within five (5) business days after each draw. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, through no fault of Microsoft, within ten (10) days after the first attempt, an alternative winner will be selected at random. The winners may be required to participate in further publicity or advertising.
7. PRIZE: There is one prize each Prize Period.
   Valid for travel dates between January and October 2010, restrictions apply to certain peak departure dates and these will be advised at the time of booking. The prize includes return flights with Thomas Cook Airlines, fuel supplements, transfers to/from the arrival airport and 7 nights stay at the Sonesta Beach hotel in Sharm El Sheikh - Egypt on an all inclusive board basis for 2 adults sharing a double room.
   Please refer to the relevant brochure for full booking conditions and important information on the holiday to be booked. This voucher cannot be combined with any other offer and no cash alternative will be offered. This voucher is not transferable and cannot be re-sold to an alternative person. Microsoft reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
8. PRIZE: There is one prize each Prize Period.
   Valid for travel dates between January and October 2010, restrictions apply to certain peak departure dates and these will be advised at the time of booking. The prize includes return flights with Thomas Cook Airlines, fuel supplements, transfers to/from the arrival airport and 7 nights stay at the LykiaWorld Antalya hotel in Turkey on an all inclusive board basis for 2 adults and 2 children, under the age of 16 years sharing a room.

9. WINNERS LIST: The winners consent to their surname being made publicly available. Winners names will be available for a period of 1 week after each monthly draw date by email request to bingaroundtheworldwinners@bingaroundtheworld.com.
10. Microsoft cannot guarantee the performance of any third party and shall not be liable for any act or default by a third party, including without limitation Thomas Cool. Participants in this promotion agree that Microsoft will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, costs, damage or disappointment of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly from acceptance, misuse or use of the prize. Nothing in this clause shall limit Microsoft’s liability in respect of death or personal injury arising out of its own negligence or arising out of fraud.
